Courtney Loner has been involved with Capitol City Opera since 2005.  She’s had wonderful opportunities performing for the Outreach Program, Dinner and a Diva series, main stage shows, Madrigal Singers and the On the Light Side programs.  She has also stage managed shows and served as Production Manager with the company.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in music from Kennesaw State University where she also fell in love with technical theater.  Since graduating, she has been fortunate enough to balance a career as both a performer and a technician.

Courtney has had the pleasure of participating in vocal master-classes with such artists as Benton Hess, William Bolcom and Joan Morris and world-renowned mezzo-soprano, Frederica von Stade.

Her acting credits include roles with Stage Door Players, Centerstage North, Epidemic Theatre, Theatre Arts Guild, and OnStage Atlanta.

Courtney has stage managed, built and painted sets and propped shows at such theaters as Stage Door Players, Onstage Atlanta, Horizon Theatre, Santa Fe Opera, Alliance Theater, Georgia Shakespeare Theatre, and The Atlanta Opera.

In her expanded role as Education Outreach Coordinator, she will continue to manage the school shows that tour throughout the Atlanta area.

She can also be found singing hits from the 20’s to today with her singing group The Reminiscents.
