Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing

Join Sid the Serpent as he tries to find his own unique place in this world! The audience follows Sid on his journey from the circus to Italy, England and finally back to America. Along the way he meets with a famous but grumpy singer, joins a vaudeville troupe and even competes in an American-Idol style show! This opera introduces musical terms, famous opera passages, and four-part harmony to children. Most of all, this show emphasizes being a first rate version of yourself, rather than a second rate version of anyone else.

Ages: Appropriate for pre-K to 5th grade
