2011 Season Auditions
CCOC will be holding their season auditions on Saturday, October 30 from 11am to 3pm. We are looking for strong, expressive singers for our mainstage operas, special events, and school shows programs. All voice types and ethnicities are encouraged to audition. All performances are paid. Singers should prepare 2 pieces, one in English and one in a foreign language of their choice. At least one piece should be from the classical repetoire, the other may be traditional music theater or an art song. Seeking the following:
All voice types. There will be one spring opera and one fall opera. Must possess excellent diction, stage presence, and attitude.
All voice types. These include two fundraiser/gala performances, our monthly Dinner and a Diva series, and other envents as they occur. Looking for dynamic, expressive singers comfortable working in a variety of settings and interacting with an audience.
All voice types. Looking for energetic, upbeat singers with flexible morning schedules. Must have great diction, presence and enjoying working with and for children. Bookings vary from 1 per month to 2 a week. Must have transportation and be extremely reliable and on time.
Appointments will be scheduled in 10 minute slots. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to fill out paperwork. There is a $10 accompanist fee, all monies go to the accompanist.
