2011 Sponsorship Information


Capitol City Opera Company is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Season Sponsor benefits include tickets to performances of the Fall and Spring Main Stage Opera Productions, preferred seating and a private reception at the Saturday evening Main Stage performances and other benefits as described by the donor level below.  Donation Levels may be listed in your name, your business name or as ‘Anonymous’ if preferred. Donations may be tax deductible, less a value of $25 per ticket used and the Titanium dinner party of $100 per attendee.

Sponsorship levels and benefits:

o    Legacy: $5,000 and up: Ten tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 10 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Reserved table for 10 at On the Lightside. Invitation to attend main stage final dress rehearsal. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events. 

o    Founder: $2,000 - $4,999: Eight tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 8 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Admission for 8 people at On the Lightside. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Sustainer: $1,000 - $1,999: Six tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 6 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Admission for 6 people at On the Lightside. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Benefactor: $500 – 999: Four tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 4 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Admission for 4 people at On the Lightside. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Supporter: $250 – 499:  Two tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 2 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Admission for 2 people at On the Lightside. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Patron: $100 – 249: Two tickets to each main stage production. Invitations for up to 2 guests for Sponsor’s Reception during main stage productions. Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Friend: $50 – 99: Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

o    Contributor: Under $50: Personal or business name in opera program, in Capitol City Opera publications and other recognition at CCOC events.

Corporate Donations and Matching Gifts.  Donors with employers offering a company match program will be credited with their donation and the matching funds. In addition, the company will be listed under Matching Gifts. Corporations that donate get listed with names of people under appropriate levels.
